I used to play college golf, where I developed a deep understanding and love for the game. Now, I'm completing my Class A certification to become fully certified by the PGA. My experience on the course and in the classroom has given me a solid foundation in golf's technical and strategic aspects. I'm passionate about sharing this knowledge with others and helping golfers of all levels improve their skills and enjoy the game even more.

Originally from Rhode Island, I discovered my passion for racket sports early on and made the bold move to Hilton Head Island during high school to train at the Smith Stearns tennis academy. I went on to attend Sewanee: The University of the South, where I was a standout player, helping lead the women’s tennis team to a top-10 national ranking in Division III. After graduating in 2022, I pursued a career in nursing, but a new passion quickly took hold when my mom introduced me to pickleball. What began as a casual game turned into a full-blown obsession—I started competing in 5.0+ tournaments, racking up wins and eventually qualifying for a professional women’s doubles event. With two years of teaching experience and a PPR certification under my belt, I am now shifting my focus to the pro circuit, aiming to make my mark in the world of competitive pickleball. I’ve been coaching pickleball for two years, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that learning works best when you’re having a blast. I bring energy, laughs, and plenty of real life knowledge to every lesson—whether we’re mastering the third shot drop or leveling up your net game. I love helping players of all levels get better, play smarter, and enjoy every minute on the court. Mike is a PGA Member and experienced golf instructor based on the beautiful Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With over 4,500 individual lessons taught, Mike offers a range of services, including individual, group, junior, and corporate lessons and clinics. He has worked with notable clients such as Morgan Stanley and AT&T in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and runs junior clinics and 9-hole Ladies (4 Tee) instruction clinics. On the course, Mike has competed in numerous regional Mid-Atlantic PGA events, the Virginia State Open, the Nike Tour Dominion Open, and the Anheuser-Busch PGA Tour event.
