I’m a versatile guitarist with over 15 years of experience performing, teaching, and composing. I specialize in innovative acoustic guitar arrangements, improvisation, and live performance. My work has found success in the music industry with over 10 million combined streams, including more than 2 million annual streams on Spotify and 250,000 monthly listeners at peak. I've also taught guitar for over 9 years with students from over 20 different countries and ages from 7 to 68. I have also 5 years of teaching experience at an engineering school for kids so I'm very knowledgeable in working with youths as well. Basketball was my first love. Although I didn’t play at the collegiate level, I had the opportunity to coach at the Division 1 level with the University of Portland Men’s Basketball program. During my time there, I led private workouts for our players, assisted with player development, and helped run youth camps on the side. I have worked with high level recruits and seen firsthand what separates good players from great ones. I believe that mastering the fundamentals is what truly elevates a player’s game. My goal is to help players build confidence, sharpen their skills, and understand what collegiate programs look for in their athletes. Every player’s journey is different, so I tailor workouts to match both skill level and personal goals. In Beijing I served as the Head Teacher of an English school, then opened my own, serving as the Primary Teacher. While there I even worked as a journalist and interpreted for the UN. After coming back, I became a Mandarin Chinese medical interpreter. I am well-versed in Language Arts and am here to help you reach your linguistic goals!
