I have just recently retired from teaching Middle School and High School Math for 35+ year. I will miss teaching and would like to continue by tutoring math. My teaching career is varied. I taught in Idaho and Oregon for 20+ years before choosing to teach overseas. I taught in Egypt, Malaysia, Myanmar, Ecuador and Guatemala; teaching at international schools. During that time, I also worked on curriculum committees, chaperoned week long trips and worked on my PhD in Math education.

I have taught and coached: Computer Science, Physics and Math after a career as an engineer and manager. Regardless of skill level, I believe in meeting students where they are, diagnosing their strengths and weaknesses and helping get them to progress. Because of my many engineering projects I can almost always have a specific example to answer the question, "When will I use this?".

I bring a wealth of expertise to the fairway, drawing from my experience coaching local high school golf teams and providing meticulous club fittings. In golf mastery, I specialize in fine-tuning your launch angle, offering insights into club selection, and guiding players to discover the perfect grip pressure. My coaching journey extends to PGA Tour players, where I've provided valuable lessons in perfecting putting strokes.
