I'm a Portland Timbers youth coach, Assistant coach for Haiti PDX FC, & currently obtaining my USA soccer D License, so every session is an invitation to rediscover soccer's joy and craft. I bring years of dedicated soccer teaching experience, combining technical drills, tactical insight, and patient mentorship to help players of all ages develop skill, confidence, and a lasting love of the game.

I have taught and coached: Computer Science, Physics and Math after a career as an engineer and manager. Regardless of skill level, I believe in meeting students where they are, diagnosing their strengths and weaknesses and helping get them to progress. Because of my many engineering projects I can almost always have a specific example to answer the question, "When will I use this?".

Every boxer’s progress is a craft I refine with disciplined technique, strategic conditioning, and focused mentorship. I teach with professionalism, warmth, and an eye for detail, having taught boxing to all age groups and levels.

I have a MS in Biostatistics and was a Graduate TA and tutor for biostatisitcs. I love breaking down complex statistical topics into small chunks. I also have experience in coding with R, STATA, and SAS, so am able to help get you started on your coding adventure!

Dedicated math lover helping others find the beauty in math. As a College Math Tutor, I utilize a variety of learning strategies to try and find what works best for you, and I will provide online resources so you can reference them when you get stuck. Math does not have to be scary!

My name is Joey Potts, and I’ve played professional basketball for three years. Two years overseas in Romania and Norway, and one with the Salem Capitals in Oregon. I’m a 6’9” power forward who competed at the junior college, Division I (Oregon State), and NAIA (Oregon Tech) levels. My experience across multiple levels gives me a unique perspective on the game. I’ve coached and trained players ranging from 5 years old to high school and college athletes.

One thing I believe with my whole heart: every kid has a shot at being amazing. Not just the biggest kid. Not just the fastest kid. Every kid. I teach effort, discipline, teamwork, and confidence, and those lessons go way beyond football.
