Hi! My name is Caden. I have lived in Ohio for 5 years since arriving to complete a PhD in Molecular Biology. I have tutored math (Basic Fractions - Calculus) and science (General Chemistry, Biology, and Physics) at the community college and high school levels as well as teaching and lecturing in biology. I work with students to learn what they know and where points of confusion lie, then build on this personalized foundation to introduce new concepts and connect them to what they already know.

I coached volleyball for over 20 years at the middle school, high school, and junior college level having coached 8th grade, freshmen, junior varsity, varsity, and Ohio State University-Mansfield for a combined 22 years as well as club volleyball in the central Ohio area for 20 years. I stress in teaching players to believe in themselves and their abilities, to teach players the mental side of the game, building core strength, and learning the skills it takes to be a high impact player!

As an instructor, I’m hands-on and prefer to be in the water with my students, providing personalized guidance and demonstrations. I’m a visual learner,and I find that showing techniques is an effective way to teach. I’ll start with the fundamentals, but I can also tailor my instruction to your current skill level.
