Currently I’m Coaching as the Varsity/JV D-Line Coach at North Mecklenburg Hs. I am the JV defensive coordinator as well. I’m dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential. I’ve played for Team USA and in the Blue-Grey All American bowl while in high school. My college career began at Lenoir-Rhyne University and concluded at Coastal Carolina University. Hi! My name’s Edmundo, and I’m a former professional soccer player with experience playing in both the U.S. and Europe. Having competed at the collegiate and professional levels, I understand exactly what it takes to reach — and succeed — at every stage of the game. My goal as a trainer is to help players develop the skills, mindset, and confidence to make a real impact on the field. Every session is designed to challenge players in the right way, helping them grow not just technically, but mentally and physically as well. Martial arts has been a passion of mine for my entire life. Currently, i am the head striking coach at Metrolina Martial Arts, and have been for 2 years. I have a competitive muay thai/kickboxing record of 9‐3. I'm ranked in 3 different martial arts including jiu jitsu, in which i also compete. I've had the privilege of training with legends of the sport, in the states and in Thailand. I'm interested helping those who are interested in learning about, and participating in, combat sports.

First team All-Conference, FCS All-American Have specialized training in defensive backs or defensive players. Hi, My name is Miss Blakeney. I am a retired elementary school teacher with 33+ years of experience. I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and I hold a masters degree in elementary education. I am also certified in the state of North Carolina to teach K-6. I have tutored students in person and online. I am versatile in technology. I love teaching and watching students progress in their learning.

I view the court as a classroom; for 20 years I have taught basketball to players of all levels, blending technical fundamentals, tactical insight and tailored training. I deliver patient, disciplined instruction rooted in competitive experience to build skill, confidence and passion for the game. Hoop Season proudly operates in both Colorado and North Caroline .
