Curiosity has been my compass throughout a 14-year journey teaching the sciences. I combine rigorous subject mastery, clear exam strategy, and hands-on experiments to cultivate critical thinking and lasting enthusiasm in my students. I teach high school and general chemistry college students.

As someone who had a major accident resulting in multiple surgeries at age 19, I have learned how to heal and transform my body, and share this work with others. I am certified in and teach bodymind practices such as yoga, pilates, Moving for Life, The Nia Technique and meditation. I am also a Reiki practitioner. In the twenty years that I have been doing this work I have come to believe that, given the right tools, we all have the power to heal and transform our bodies and minds.

Kayla has been playing pickleball for 3 years and has competed in tournaments across the nation. Currently holding a 4.5 DUPR, she continues to improve her game while gaining valuable experience.
