I’ve been coaching football since I was 16 years old. I became a varsity OL/DL coach at the age of 18. I enhanced my knowledge of the game of football by being mentored by head coach’s. Then becoming a defensive coordinator for herricks lacrosse at the age of 19. I now coach travel teams and do private session of all age groups.

I am a retired high school English teacher with 36 years' experience. I use bilingual teaching for Mandarin lessons to help students learn easily. My students include teens, college students, working adults and seniors. Lessons focus on daily & workplace spoken Chinese. I share traditional Chinese culture in class and provide beginner HSK guidance. I love Chinese history, classic literature, flower arrangement and tea art.

I've been coaching soccer in New Haven for 30+ years, as a player, coach, and Director of Coaches for New Haven Youth Soccer (NHYS). I was recently honored as United Soccer Coaches 2025 National Youth Coach of the Year. I've coached youth, high school, premier, and collegiate club teams. My approach is to meet players where they are to build strong technical players with a strong soccer IQ by growing their confidence with the ball from simple to more complex activities.

With my 9 years of soccer experience, I plan to teach others and help them grow within the beautiful sport of soccer! I have experience at the high school varsity level, club travel level, and NCAA College level. I hope to use my knowledge and skills to help students reach their goals with personalized soccer training

I have worked for Varsity Tutors for over 10 years, tutoring algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC, college algebra, and college calculus I. I have worked with honors, college prep and students who are challeged (ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia). I am approachable for questions at any time and my goal is to give the students self-confidence for assessments. I break down solutions step-by-step and explain each step to helo students understand the solutio
