I am a Japanese guy💪, born and raised in Japan. I learned to ski from my strict!? father at first, and later started skiing with school friends and family. In 1989, I obtained my Level 2 technical ski certification from the Japanese Ski Association (SAJ). During on-season, I’m teaching at a ski resort’s ski school. I can work with you during off-season at NJ. About my past life! I came to the US as a student, and time has flown by since then. After becoming a frequent traveler for multiple jobs at one of the largest Japanese companies, I now retired and started teaching skiing for fun! I obtained my Level 1 ski instructor certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA-AASI) and have already passed my Level 2 ski exam (Less than 50% of instructors pass this), with my sights set on further improving my teaching skills. Phew😮‍💨, the learning 📚never ends! In addition to skiing for over 40+ years, I have a deep background in classical music 🎵and play the piano with a degree. I was also an official docent at Carnegie Hall for 10 years. Recently, I completed a Reiki healing master class and am planning to help others with it.

Starting playing golf at age of 18 at Spook Rock golf course. From there starting taking lessons at The Tuxedo Club where I worked for a friend and mentor Dave Carazo. In that time frame qualified for 2 Met Amateurs. That lead me to become a golf professional in that time frame spent 12 years in the Met PGA section and became a member of the PGA 2001. After that spent time in both Philly and New Jersey section where I currently reside. Recently I worked at Golf Galaxy of East Hanover as a golf instructor and club fitter for 5 plus years. Caddied at a club called Lost Tree Club where had the chance to play with tour players and caddie for Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman.
