Michele's journey into pickleball began in 2017, driven by her preparation for the US Transplant Games the following year. Instantly enamored with the sport, she delved deep, earning both PPR Coach and IFP Instructor certifications in 2019 followed by RPO certification in 2025. As a dedicated Youth Pickleball Provider (YPP) with USA Pickleball, Michele's joy lies in coaching enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, fostering a love for pickleball within her community.

"My family wanted to learn how to play. My two girls 12 &14 were hitting the ball around in our driveway but didn’t know all of the rules of the game. I set up a group lesson with Michele and she taught my 2 girls and my husband while I watched. We learned how to hold the paddle, proper swing mechanics and the rules while doing fun drills and games. Michele gave clear instructions and demonstrations that made it easy and enjoyable.

I'm a former professional athlete with experience playing for a university pro team. Now, I'm dedicated to coaching and mentoring athletes to help them reach their full potential. I am a passionate tennis player and instructor. I have been coaching tennis for over 20 years. I used to be the girl tennis director at Brookwood Camp in Glen Spey NY. I played in the USTA league for over 10 years. I also coach high school tennis for some years. Currently, I am a member of the Morristown field club. I play tennis and paddle throughout the year.

I am a football coach with four years of experience, currently serving as a Head Coach of travel teams with Cougars Academy in Maplewood and South Orange, New Jersey, and Elite Soccer Academy. I have built my coaching philosophy from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on tactical understanding, game analysis, and collective play. I have a particular strength in reading the game, identifying problems, and making tactical adjustments. My approach begins with understanding each player—their mindset, goals, and ambitions—before developing their technical, tactical, and positional abilities. I believe understanding the person is the first step toward developing the player and building a strong team.
