For over a decade, I've been sharing my passion for ping pong. Now I'm using that experience in helping players of all levels discover the joy of this fast-growing sport of pickleball. My focus is on building a strong foundation, developing strategic skills, and fostering a love of the game in each of my students.

With a degree in Entertainment Technology, I've studied music since 3rd grade. Starting in orchestra with the upright bass, I learned how to read music in school. I branched out from classical orchestra to modern rock music. Coming from a musical family, I had access to a lot of instruments. I performed in piano recitals, sang in concert choir and acapella groups, and played bass in jazz band. I have a record label and perform acoustic guitar live.

Born and raised in Jamaica, played soccer in MIddle School, continued in high school where I played for 6 years and competed for Jamaica High School Dacosta Cup Competition in 1990.

Coach Colin has 12 years of coaching and teaching experience with close to 7 years of Pickleball playing and coaching under his belt. Teacher of the year in 2016, Coach Colin brings to the table patience and dedication to providing top tiered instruction related to your needs in drilling and skill work. I have been a high-level competitive tennis player for many years, progressing through USTA tournaments on into the Division I collegiate level at Sacred Heart University. Before Sacred Heart, I played a couple of years at Division III Allegheny College where I was a two-time all-conference singles selection, became captain as a junior and was a representative of the team on the student athletic advisory committee. At Sacred Heart, I was named captain my senior season and received the student-athlete award for the highest GPA on the team after my first semester. In addition to my playing experience, I have many years of coaching experience. I am a current RSPA Elite Professional, and have organized and run my own private lessons and programs. I have also coached at various country and athletic clubs in Northern NJ and New York, along with having been an assistant men’s coach at Army West Point. I am sometimes available at the Jersey Shore in the summer as well.
