Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. As a former college player with two decades of coaching experience, I'm passionate about fostering a love for the game in players of all ages and skill levels. My coaching blends technical expertise with a supportive and engaging approach, empowering students to reach their full potential on and off the court.
