Mal is New York State Certified Music Educator with nearly five years of teaching experience in vocal and general music education. He holds an Associates, Bachelors, and Masters degree in Music Education and currently teaches K-5 music in New York City, where he directs, choir, drum, and violin. His teaching emphasises vocal technique, musical expression, and culturally responsive repertoire. He also works with students in vocal coaching and performance development.

I coached softball and baseball for 10 total years (8-14 years old). I was a club baseball (Emerson Bandits) head coach for 3 years (14-16u). In the last 5 years I was an assistant varsity softball coach for 4 years at Westwood High School and last year I was named head varsity basbeall coach at Bergenfield High School. We won the BIT tournament in my first year and had a big turnaround season for that program. I have taught hitting for the past decade to all ages I am also a personal trainer for the past 25 years and I have owned a personal training facility for the past 19 years. I am a Japanese guy💪, born and raised in Japan. I learned to ski from my strict!? father at first, and later started skiing with school friends and family. In 1989, I obtained my Level 2 technical ski certification from the Japanese Ski Association (SAJ). During on-season, I’m teaching at a ski resort’s ski school. I can work with you during off-season at NJ. About my past life! I came to the US as a student, and time has flown by since then. After becoming a frequent traveler for multiple jobs at one of the largest Japanese companies, I now retired and started teaching skiing for fun! I obtained my Level 1 ski instructor certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA-AASI) and have already passed my Level 2 ski exam (Less than 50% of instructors pass this), with my sights set on further improving my teaching skills. Phew😮‍💨, the learning 📚never ends! In addition to skiing for over 40+ years, I have a deep background in classical music 🎵and play the piano with a degree. I was also an official docent at Carnegie Hall for 10 years. Recently, I completed a Reiki healing master class and am planning to help others with it.

I've been teaching private music lessons for 30 years. My goal is to have my students learn more about who they are as an individual through a methodical and interactive study that involves the deep roots of foundational theory combined with improvisational interactions and applications to create a wholistic knowledge of 3 dimensional self expression. My Bio: Sean Nowell holds degrees from Berklee College of Music in Jazz Composition and Manhattan School of Music in Jazz Performance and is a 30 year musical freelancer, educator and recording artist. He has played broadway shows, composed and improvised film scores, music for ballet and theatre, 20th century classical music, big band and small jazz ensembles, commercial music and has pushed the boundaries of saxophone and flute by integrating electronic effects pedals into his musical language. He has traveled and collaborated with dancers, actors, painters, stilt walkers, and acrobats on multiple international tours as Musical Director for Bond Street Theatre and has represented The Istanbul Jazz Festival at Universities around Turkey with his Multimedia Electro-Jazz Ensemble, The Kung-Fu Masters. With his hip-hop theater collective, Soul Inscribed, he has represented the United States as Artistic Ambassador in Russia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Peru, and Mauritius. Soul Inscribed won a Fulbright grant to continue their work with kids in Mauritius. He performed at The Shaolin Temple, did a 6 city tour in China and was the American Representative at International Jazz Day in Accra, Ghana. He toured Europe multiple times with his NYC/Stockholm acoustic jazz band, The New York Jazz Exchange and hosted weekly Free-Improv R&B Funk jams in Queens, NY. He is also the American Representative for an innovative electronic Midi wind instrument for saxophonists called the EMEO. His interest in utilizing cutting edge music technology has led him to recently give masterclasses at The American School of Modern Music in Paris and Loyola University in New Orleans.

Tom McGuire is a hockey coach with over eight years of experience developing players of all ages and skill levels. He has coached youth players through Ice Hockey in Harlem, Learn to Play (LTP), and Learn to Skate (LTS) programs with the New York Islanders, as well as travel hockey with North Park Hockey. Tom also works with adult players from beginner to advanced levels, focusing on skill development, confidence, and growing a passion for the game.

Roger holds a master's degree in pure mathematics from a renowned research university, and a non-US teaching certificate. He works with HS and college students on subjects ranging from geometry, algebra, (pre-) calculus (AP or Calculus 1-4), or ODEs.
