She is PCI, RPO, RPPk/DUPR L2 and SafeSport certified and coaches at several pickleball venues in NYC (indoor and outdoor). Amanda’s sweet spot for teaching is beginners and advanced beginners who want to move up to intermediate and advanced play, including tennis players new to pickleball. With Amanda's guidance, you can expect not only valuable insights and quick tips to enhance your performance and win more points, but also to have a lot of fun in the process. If needed, sessions can also incorporate a focus on reviewing and mastering the fundamentals since a strong foundation is essential for long-term improvement in pickleball. Growing up in Hawaii, I won 4 state championships and won National High School All American Championships before joining the NYU Men's Tennis Team where I currently compete. I am also currently a summer coach for the junior programs at ROOSEVELT ISLAND RACQUET CLUB, where I work with young players of all levels. I am also able to coach any age and will tailor every lesson to your goals.

"My family wanted to learn how to play. My two girls 12 &14 were hitting the ball around in our driveway but didn’t know all of the rules of the game. I set up a group lesson with Michele and she taught my 2 girls and my husband while I watched. We learned how to hold the paddle, proper swing mechanics and the rules while doing fun drills and games. Michele gave clear instructions and demonstrations that made it easy and enjoyable.
