His approach was perfect for us, as we are getting back to the sport after a long break. His experience shows and he has been able to break that down into easy to understand teaching points and techniques. We'll be booking more lessons! Thanks, Jason!

As a dedicated Music Production Coach with over 14 years of experience, I empower aspiring artists and producers to transform their ideas into polished tracks. My passion lies in demystifying the world of sound, making complex concepts accessible, fun, and deeply engaging. My journey includes managing a studio at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center in North Minneapolis, where I had the privilege of teaching music production to inner-city youth, an experience that deepened my commitment to fostering creativity and providing hands-on skills to the next generation of music makers. Additionally, I bring extensive real-world expertise from the nightlife scene, having served as a Sound and Lighting Manager and Resident DJ at prominent Minneapolis venues. This background honed my understanding of audio optimization, live sound engineering, and the art of curating immersive sonic experiences, providing me with invaluable skills for teaching students how to produce, mix, and master their unique sound.

""My daughter wanted to learn music production, and I stumbled upon this class. Rickey has a fantastic way with teenagers – they made the lessons engaging by focusing on the type of music she loves. She brings her own laptop, and they've already started exploring Ableton, which is amazing. It's so inspiring to see her create her own beats and tracks. As a parent, I appreciate the positive and encouraging environment. It's been a wonderful creative outlet for her!
