I’m Coach Obie Ricumstrict, a former professional baseball player with six years of experience in the Texas Rangers organization. I was drafted out of high school and spent my career playing at a high level, which gave me a deep understanding of the game and what it takes to compete. I specialize in infield, outfield, and hitting instruction, focusing on developing athletes both physically and mentally. My training blends pro-level fundamentals with explosive movement, speed, and game-ready performance.

I am, above all, a baseball "nerd" who believes in teaching the game the right way, with a strong emphasis on fundamentals and skill development. I will challenge athletes in new ways to improve their overall baseball skill and confidence. I've spent the past five years coaching at the high school level, developing athletes into ballplayers, and having the privilege of seeing several play at the next level. I was fortunate to play 1.5 seasons in college myself and officiated for over 15 years.
