I'm Dr. Shuming Chen, a former university professor with over a decade of teaching experience and a Ph.D. in Vehicle Engineering. I have helped students from undergraduate to graduate level understand difficult concepts, prepare for exams, complete research projects, and improve academic writing. I am a graduate of Bennington College where I received my BA in Literature, Creative Writing, and French. Currently, I am in pursuit of a MA from University of Michigan, studying poetry at the Helen Zell Writers' Program. A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, reading and writing has always been my passion and my chosen profession.

I bring over a decade of competitive playing experience, including captaincy of Michigan Hawks ECNL and MRL play and international experience in England's Northern Division 1 league with Bradford City FC. I have coached ages 2-10 in New York City and have volunteer coaching experience with the Michigan Hawks Youth Developmental Program. My coaching style is unique to every player and position, honing in on core technical skills. First session will analyze skills and after it is personalized.

I played all positions but catcher in competitive softball for 10 years, including 8 years of travel softball and several seasons under an Olympic coach. I was a starting varsity player on a NC 4A team that finished 4th in state. I've coached both teams and individuals from beginners to high schoolers in pitching, hitting, infield, and outfield skills. While coaching, I focus on fundamentals and boost challenge and intensity with each athlete for their growth, confidence, and love for softball!

Coach Dre is a Varsity Skills Position Coach with a passion for developing young athletes both on and off the field. Specializing in skill positions, he focuses on teaching proper technique, football IQ, speed development, route running, ball skills, and overall athletic performance.

I qualify for teaching young students to adults. Ages ranging from 10 to 70 years old. I have been teaching tennis part time for over 40 years.

Vivien is a dedicated volleyball coach who brings 15 years of competitive basketball experience and a strong athletic foundation to her coaching. She focuses on developing fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence while helping athletes improve their skills and reach their goals in a positive, supportive environment.

I focus on fundamentals through repetition. Mastering fundamentals is essential to a players success and continual improvement. Once fundamental baseball drills are mastered, advanced techniques can be incorporated into a players game. Positive reinforcement is used to build confidence and mental toughness. Other areas of focus include good sportsmanship and being a strong team player. There are many life lessons to be learned from playing baseball, which can help in real life situations.
