In Massachusetts, I was the head coach at St. Sebastian’s for 7 years, the assistant coach at Worcester Academy for 2 years, a head coach for the Boston Prospects, and I currently coach the Roxbury Prep team. Hello, my name is Travis and my primary goal is to help each student learn the piano in a way that makes sense for them and is fun. I teach a hybrid of classical training (note reading, finger dexterity, music theory) and learning by mimicry/ear. I teach all student types from ages 6 - 106. A typical first lesson for new beginners includes learning the layout of the piano, key names, and other basic info.
