Hi! I’m Bethania, a current medical student and lifelong competitive swimmer with international experience. I began as a lifeguard in high school and rediscovered my passion for teaching while instructing at Boston University. I’ve worked with all ages, from infants to older adults, and love helping swimmers build confidence and skills. Feel free to reach out if you’re in the DC/Maryland area! :)

As a former 4-year college football starter playing 3 years at the Division II level and 1 year at the Division I FBS level, then getting the opportunity to participate in Baltimore Ravens minicamp. Anthony Diallo is a Communications Specialist with 10 years of experience developing strategic communications (writer), being a Vocational Development Specialist, and an educator. He was a contractor for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) where he received a commendation for research, fact-finding, and working with confidential information in a secure environment. Diallo served as a professor in Virginia and a DC special education teacher. He has three college degrees.

My teaching philosophy is that you must have fun. If studying guitar feels like a chore, this won't work. I like to meet students where they are, both overall (what's the music you love!) and how they feel week to week. I've played guitar since I was 14, and I love the instrument not only because it rocks, but also because of its rich history and its standing as an art object.
