"My time with Ms. Garver really advanced my playing. I really liked how she put so much focus in the details of every piece we played, as it taught me to become patient when learning a piece, something that I've definitely taken with me in my current playing. She was also very easy to get along with and I always looked forward to our lessons!

Learning should be fun. There are so many different things to learn about and what we learn in school is just a stepping stone to a much bigger world. I think what you learn should be relatable to your life. I like to find ways to actually make learning feel worthwhile and important to what sparks interest and joy in your life. Most of my teaching career has been spent with alternative education students. My passion is making education engaging and attainable for every learner.
