I love the friendly environment that comes with playing pickleball, and I strongly believe that it is one of the most unique sports, due to its ability to be learned quickly without much previous experience. I’m extremely patient, can work with individuals at any skill level, and can tailor lessons to individual needs/goals. Most importantly, I love pickleball and bring this passion to any and all pickleball-related events. If you’re a beginner or have never even touched a pickleball paddle, within a short amount of time you’ll be able to rally and start winning points. A former National Champion (U14–16) and State Champion (U16–18), I also competed at the collegiate level and served as a university team captain. I teach all levels and I specialize in player development of all ages, focusing on stroke production, footwork, consistency, and confidence on court. I also focus on technical excellence .

In Massachusetts, I was the head coach at St. Sebastian’s for 7 years, the assistant coach at Worcester Academy for 2 years, a head coach for the Boston Prospects, and I currently coach the Roxbury Prep team. I have coached draft picks and many Division 1 players. I am also a teacher and a soccer and hockey coach, so I believe in teaching the game and I believe in athletes. I still hold my high school's all-time scoring record (boys or girls) with 1,545 career points, and was recruited by multiple D1 programs before committing to Wellesley College, where I averaged 38 minutes, 15 points, and 6 rebounds per game. I later coached a JV girls basketball team for two seasons, turning an 0–20 program into a 12-8 team. With years of private lessons and camps under my belt, every session I run is tailored to the player's goals: serious work, real results, all ages/levels!

Hello, my name is Travis and my primary goal is to help each student learn the piano in a way that makes sense for them and is fun. I teach a hybrid of classical training (note reading, finger dexterity, music theory) and learning by mimicry/ear. I teach all student types from ages 6 - 106. A typical first lesson for new beginners includes learning the layout of the piano, key names, and other basic info.
