I began playing golf at age 7, started playing competitively at age 10, was a successful junior player and played in several national level events. I went to college to become a golf professional. I followed that path after graduating for 6 years and earned PGA Class A Professional accreditation while at Ruth Lake Country Club in Hinsdale, IL. While working as a professional, I gave countless lessons to players of all abilities ranging from juniors just starting the game, to elite level junior players at the high school level, ladies, seniors, and even handicapped/disabled golfers. While I left the PGA Pro life for a career in technology in the Golf Industry, I have remained a lifelong student of the dynamics of golf swing, short game, and all aspects of the game. I play 70+ rounds each year and love to compete or just play for fun. One thing I know, Golf is not one-size-fits-all sport, fun can be had at all levels if you match the course to your ability and the approach to play that aligns with to your athletic capabilities. I prefer to tailor my approach to each student and what goals they are trying to achieve.
