Football has been my passion since early childhood. I grew up learning the basics of the game, living it every day — playing it, studying it, and enjoying every match I watched. Football is not just a sport to me; it’s a way of life. Over the years, that passion naturally evolved into coaching. I believe in developing players not only technically, but mentally and emotionally — building confidence, discipline, and love for the game. I come from Africa, where football talent runs in our blood and skills are developed instinctively from a young age. I combine that natural foundation with structured training to help young players grow, improve, and reach their full potential. Let’s build strong, smart, and confident players together.

Whether you are a junior picking up a racket for the first time or an adult looking to refine your competitive edge, my coaching focuses on technical precision, strategic movement, and game-day mental toughness.

"I have been working with the FXW School for the past two years to introduce and develop pickleball for their junior players. We consistently see a fantastic turnout, with up to 20 kids participating per session. While the students generally start as beginners, many are incredibly fast learners. We focus on blending skill-building with fun games, and after just a few sessions each term, the players successfully transition into competitive match play. It continues to be a highly successful program, and I look forward to getting them back on the court for the next session.

Basketball had been a passion of mine sonce the age of four. I grew up learning the game from my father, a trainer and coach, starting my love for both playing and teaching. I’ve played at both the Division 1 JUCO and NCAA Division II levels and have experience as an AAU coach, youth trainer, and assistant coach for various pro am teams. Hi, I’m David Labno. I have a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UIUC, over a decade of STEM tutoring experience, and was named Adjunct Instructor of the Year in 2015. I help students with physics, math, and general chemistry by breaking concepts into clear steps. My style is patient, encouraging, and concept-focused. In our first lesson, we’ll identify your goals, find the sticking points, and build confidence from there.

I have an M.A. in teaching ESL and have taught English for 6 years. I have been an educator for 19 years. I teach all skill levels of English from beginner to people studying professional vocabulary for work. I have also taught all ages. To really understand how people learn English, you must know how different people learn at different levels.
