I began playing golf at age 7, started playing competitively at age 10, was a successful junior player and played in several national level events. I went to college to become a golf professional. I followed that path after graduating for 6 years and earned PGA Class A Professional accreditation while at Ruth Lake Country Club in Hinsdale, IL. While working as a professional, I gave countless lessons to players of all abilities ranging from juniors just starting the game, to elite level junior players at the high school level, ladies, seniors, and even handicapped/disabled golfers. While I left the PGA Pro life for a career in technology in the Golf Industry, I have remained a lifelong student of the dynamics of golf swing, short game, and all aspects of the game. I play 70+ rounds each year and love to compete or just play for fun. One thing I know, Golf is not one-size-fits-all sport, fun can be had at all levels if you match the course to your ability and the approach to play that aligns with to your athletic capabilities. I prefer to tailor my approach to each student and what goals they are trying to achieve. Whether you're just starting to learn the game, or been playing for years and just struggling with a few things, I can help get you on track and working on sound principles and fundamentals. For two decades, I've cultivated a passion for piano in students of all levels. My professional performance experience informs my teaching, making lessons engaging, effective and tailored just to you! I perform and teach all styles of music from classical to jazz, R&B to hip-hop, folk to indie, and more! In addition to piano, I can help you learn composition, songwriting, production, arranging, and help with playing in a group! I am here to help you achieve whatever goal you are trying to accomplish, whether that's playing your favorite song, or becoming a concert pianist

Michele Thomas is a contemporary jazz vocalist, recording artist, educator and entrepreneur of over 20 years. As an educator she founded and teaches both voice and artist development for her own private teaching studio, Soulstream Music Studio of Contemporary Voice, for over the past 18 years. She has also taught vocal jazz ensemble and applied jazz voice at DePaul University, Vandercook College of Music and has recently joined the Artist faculty at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her music education stems from a rich Chicago gospel music legacy as well as studying at Sherwood Music Conservatory and receiving her BA in music at North Park University where in her freshman year she became the founding conductor of the college’s first ever gospel choir. Teaching credits include teaching voice and choir at Clarendon Hills Music Academy, Merit School of Music, Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church and the Maywood Fine Arts Association. In addition to multiple workshops on jazz and gospel music both overseas and throughout the U.S, she is a regularly featured clinician for Next Showcase Chicago, founded by previous Grammy Chapter president, Mark Hubbard. And in 2020 she was brought on as a music supervisor and vocal coach for the HBO Max critically acclaimed comedy series, ”Southside". As a performing artist, she has just released her third album named, “The Assumption” that has received critical acclaim. She headlined at the Chicago Jazz Festival in recent years and has performed at many of the city’s legendary jazz clubs including The Jazz Showcase, The Green Mill Andy’s Jazz Club and Winter’s Jazz Club.
