I followed that path after graduating for 6 years and earned PGA Class A Professional accreditation while at Ruth Lake Country Club in Hinsdale, IL. While working as a professional, I gave countless lessons to players of all abilities ranging from juniors just starting the game, to elite level junior players at the high school level, ladies, seniors, and even handicapped/disabled golfers. While I left the PGA Pro life for a career in technology in the Golf Industry, I have remained a lifelong student of the dynamics of golf swing, short game, and all aspects of the game. I play 70+ rounds each year and love to compete or just play for fun. One thing I know, Golf is not one-size-fits-all sport, fun can be had at all levels if you match the course to your ability and the approach to play that aligns with to your athletic capabilities. The game of basketball has given me so much joy in life! I love the way the ball sounds when you bounce it. I love the way the net sounds when the ball goes in. I love shooting on mini hoops, regulation sized hoops, swimming pool hoops, and anything in between. If there's a hoop and a ball, I'm playing. Heck, I remember playing on crates when I was younger. I love playing inside, outside, it doesn't matter. I love getting into a stance and locking somebody up on defense. I love outhustling everybody on the other team for loose balls. I love making my teammates better and being a leader on the court. I want to share my 35 + years of basketball knowledge and experience with boys and girls of all ages in hopes of helping them become the best basketball players and human beings they can possibly be (they go hand in hand).
