With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jewel brings a unique blend of expertise, patience, and a natural ability to connect with students of all ages. Her lifelong passion for swimming began early as a high school swim team member for four years, and she later achieved lifeguard certification in her senior year. Jewel’s experience as an educator enhances her swim instruction, making her lessons engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. Known for her great sense of humor, Jewel creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere where swimmers feel confident and excited to learn. Whether working with babies, children, or adults, Jewel’s approach combines water safety, technical skill development, and lots of laughter to make every lesson a memorable experience.

I have been teaching volleyball for several years, specializing in skill development, game intelligence, and building confident, team-focused athletes. I've also played high level club & collegiate volleyball at A5 for 9 years, and I have D1/JUCO experience from UTEP (TX) and Hutchinson Community College in Kansas!



30 years full out athlete 9.5 months out of 12. Played softball as fast pitch catcher from 11 years old through college on an athletic scholarship. Played school, rec, travel, and tourney. Hitting and throwing lessons also.
