Kayla has been playing pickleball for 3 years and has competed in tournaments across the nation. Currently holding a 4.5 DUPR, she continues to improve her game while gaining valuable experience. I have been playing soccer for about 17 years, meaning the game has always been a big part of my life. My experience as a player, including competing at the national level, has shown me how important a great coach can be in shaping confidence, skills, and a love for the game. As a coach, I focus on developing strong fundamentals, teamwork, and smart decision-making while creating a positive and supportive environment where players can grow and reach their full potential.

I have taught at the University of Michigan Dearborn and Eastern Michigan University for over 14 years. I taught lab and lecture. I have written countless exams and know what teachers will ask on tests. I teach to many different learning styles.

I’m a touring bassist, backing vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, app creator, and music production coach. I help students turn ideas into finished songs by focusing on recording workflow, arrangement, tone, song structure, performance, and confidence. My lessons are practical, relaxed, and built around each student’s goals, whether they are starting out, writing their first track, or trying to improve their production process.

Currently a Physical Education teacher at Southport School, I bring patience, encouragement, and fun to every session. My specialties include basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and golf, but I’m open to coaching kids in any sport they’re eager to learn. At the end of the day guitar is the COOLEST. A Berklee attendee and Emerson graduate in sound engineering, my gig experience ranges from small venues to auditoriums.
