I've been coaching soccer for 30+ years, as a player, coach, and Director of Coaches for New Haven Youth Soccer (NHYS). I was recently honored as United Soccer Coaches 2025 National Youth Coach of the Year. I've coached youth, high school, premier, and collegiate club teams. I am a retired high school English teacher with 36 years' experience. I use bilingual teaching for Mandarin lessons to help students learn easily. My students include teens, college students, working adults and seniors. Lessons focus on daily & workplace spoken Chinese. I share traditional Chinese culture in class and provide beginner HSK guidance. I love Chinese history, classic literature, flower arrangement and tea art.
