I’ve been studying Mandarin language and culture since age four, and now take the most advanced classes in Mandarin UC Berkeley has to offer. Since I started learning, I’ve received a 5/5 in AP Chinese, a 7/7 in IB Mandarin (SL-B), and attended a the Global Young Leaders Program hosted by Peking University in China. I now help facilitate language acquisition as a Peer Coordinator at the UC Berkeley Language Exchange Program, where I lead the English and Mandarin as a second language pods.

Music is more than notes; it's a language . I've been helping everyone around master their art for 20 years. My passion lies in unlocking genuine potential, fostering creativity, and building confidence, one lesson and one second at a time.

I have over 30 years of experience both playing at a high level (USTA men’s opens and 5.5+) and coaching in multiple countries (Canada, USA and Australia) working with players from beginner to ranked junior tournament players to all adult levels and even players on the pro tour.
