A former national junior champion, Carey represented his native country of New Zealand in international play before attending and earning a B.A. in Business Management from Colorado State University-Pueblo,where twice he was awarded All-American status and selected to represent the NAIA national team. Carey has earned many accolades, has several USTA/USPTA certifications, and has been as high as #308 in ATP rankings. Some of his other impressive stats include being inducted into the CSU Pueblo Hall of Fame for Men's Tennis, being a Two-Time All-American in singles at the University of Southern Colorado, being the 2006 USPTA Junior Development Coach of the Year, the 2005 Rocky Mountain News 5A Boy's HS Coach of the Year, the 2004, CHSAA 5A Coach of the Year, and the Colorado State Open Singles Champion. When not teaching tennis, you might find Carey on the dance floor doing the Cha-cha.

I have over 30 years of experience both playing at a high level (USTA men’s opens and 5.5+) and coaching in multiple countries (Canada, USA and Australia) working with players from beginner to ranked junior tournament players to all adult levels and even players on the pro tour. I love helping players achieve their goals and having a great time on court learning together!!!

I’m an English major turned information scientist with ten years of teaching under my belt. I’ve tutored everyone from elementary school to college, and I’ve formally taught high school and all ages of college student. I emphasize hands-on learning and pursuing personal interest in combination with curricula. My strengths are in literature, history, and data gathering and analysis for both quantitative and qualitative methods!

With over a decade of dedicated basketball instruction, I'm passionate about helping players of all levels elevate their game. My name is Lainie and I just finished my softball career as a pitcher and hitter. I am very passionate about the game of softball and the nuances of pitching. I have vast experience in working as a division 1 manager at the University of Northern Colorado and a four year playing career at Colorado Christian University (NCAA D2) and Montana State University Billings (NCAA D2). I am interested in working with young pitchers who are looking to learn fundamentals and find their passion for the game.
