I am a graduate of Valparaiso University with degrees in music and theatre and I have been teaching piano, voice, and acting students for over 8 years. It is my personal philosophy that learning should be joyful and a ton of fun! I am a graduate of Second City’s Music Improv Conservatory, and I have taught young people and adults of all ages across Chicago and Los Angeles with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, MA School of Acting, and in Chicago Public Schools. You may have seen me in the Romantic Comedy film Baking Up Love, in commercials for Smithfield, Pearson Textbooks, The Kentucky Lottery and more, as well as countless theatre productions and voiceovers. I can’t wait to tailor lessons to fit you and your goals, and to have so much fun singing together!
"Sydney really enjoyed the lesson with Allison and found it engaging and fun. The positive energy made the experience memorable and motivating. If you’re thinking about improving your singing skills, Allison’s lessons are definitely worth trying. You’ll likely come away feeling inspired and eager to learn more. Give it a go and see for yourself! 🙂

30 years of playing and teaching experience. Have worked with David Leadbetter and Kip Puterbaugh for over a decade. Have not worked with a student yet that doesn’t improve if the student is willing to put in the work.
"Had my first lesson with Michael this morning and it was exactly what I needed. He quickly identified key areas to work on and helped me simplify my setup and swing approach. No fluff — just clear, practical adjustments I can take straight to the course. Highly recommend.
