I have taught over 100 students from age 4 to ages 65+! Over ten years of active gigging and recording experience in guitar and voice and five years on bass. (Spanish speaker too). Happy to drive to a student’s home within reasonable distance. Holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Point Loma Nazarene, specializing in guitar, voice, songwriting, performance, and music business. Versatile in various styles such as jazz, rock, gospel, funk, metal, math rock, and more. Songwriting credits on Chicago rapper Tobi Lou’s "Live on Ice" record. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals.
