I’m a lifelong student of the game, raised in a family of coaches, and I’ve spent years in the gym studying how players actually improve. I care about the details—footwork, decision-making, and building skills that show up in real games. Every session is focused on helping players grow their confidence, understand the game, and become more effective when it matters. I built my own game around efficiency—shooting over 60% from three with a 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio—and that same approach is what I now use to help players improve and reach their potential. Above all, my goal is to help players develop a genuine love for the game that lasts a lifetime.

With two decades of competitive tennis under my belt, I've spent the last 10 years imparting the essentials of the game to enthusiasts in our local community. My teaching methods have been greatly influenced by my 30-year tenure as a martial arts instructor, bringing a unique perspective to my tennis coaching. This combined experience has honed my ability to convey techniques effectively, ensuring that students not only learn the basics but also appreciate the discipline and dedication behind every stroke.

I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. My brother was on the high school team and I have trained with him growing up almost everyday. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching any students be well rounded individuals not just in sports, but in life.
