I coached a lot of younger professional players when I was young, anything to get their attention and they listened. Euro 2024 and a lot of countries players. If you want me to coach your team to win a league it’s not difficult for me. I don’t need to play to coach. I prefer to play and coach.

With over 25 years of experience in the game, golf has been a lifelong passion that has taken me from junior competitions to D1 collegiate golf and beyond. I played for Oregon State University and did not miss a tournament. Additionally, I have competed at the U.S. Girls Junior Amateurs twice (‘08, ‘09) and the U.S. Women's Amateurs twice (‘12, ‘14). My PR is 64 back in high school. After college, I competed professionally on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, where I secured a tournament win at -11. While in Arizona, I also found joy in teaching, working with kids ages 6 to 12 at the TopGolf Summer Academy, helping them develop strong fundamentals and a love for the game. I also have experience going to Q-School and made it to Stage 2 my first year. My name is Roberto. I was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica, and I came to the United States nine years ago to play college tennis. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University (nation's top 10 NCAA Division II school) with a B.A. in Business Management and served as the team's captain on my last semester. I have also coached beginner and intermediate tennis players of all ages in Costa Rica as well as several collegiate dual matches. Regarding my playing history, I have played tournaments in over 10 countries, obtained a junior international ranking, and reached a ranking of #8 in Costa Rica. As of this year, I started coaching pickleball and the experience has been no different! Concepts are very similar and time to raise level is actually shorter!

My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.
