I have been playing golf for 20 years and have been teaching for 5 years. I Enjoy getting people to learn new skills, especially if it is a skill they are struggling with. My proudest golf achievement has been shooting a 71 at Poppy Hills. My favorite golf course is Torrey Pines. When I am not teaching or playing golf, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and playing the drums.

I'm a USPTA certified tennis professional, and I play comfortably at a pro level with—an eclectic and unconventional style — the right players. * As a teaching pro ♣ I understand the game very well- with high match IQ). I used to dance ballet as well which helped me a lot to have a smooth and a fluid style, and a great foot work and balance. When it comes to tennis it is all about fitness, agility, stamina, endurance, mental fortitude at the critical moment of the match--- and a great technique to sustain a high level for a long period of time. About my tennis style and teaching- you will learn any style you like that fits your game, using spin and slices as well as being eclectic and /or conventional ... and how to develop a technically sound serve ( the serve in tennis is one of or the most important elements if you like to be very competitive). ♣ Teaching philosophy is-- (based around student and teacher-centered approach): I do not like to talk much during the session( I don't over/or under coach but I give you what you need to be ) Despite-- I emphasize a lot on the technique and repetitions so you can improve in the right way, while having fun. -- and after finishing the lessons, the students will have an idea on what they need to do to become good recreational players, or advanced or professional players, and what their strengths and weaknesses are... from which they will be able to diagnose their own game. ♣ Personal --I'm also multilingual-- graduate student (I have a minor, BA, MA---,(and PhD is my next goal. * I taught tennis in high school as well - private school - and all my students said that I'm the best coach they have ever had . ♣I love fitness, organic food, and my favorite sport is gymnastics which is the only complete sport and most difficult to master. Fueled by a lifelong dedication to golf, I bring 30 years of experience to helping players elevate their game. I've coached children from the ages of 4-18. I coached a Nike Golf Camp for a number of summers at Tilden Park Golf Course where I focused on younger golfers. I've been the head coach at number of successful high schools throughout the area. I have also taught adults, family, and friends. I offer a unique perspective and my first and most important rule is that we're having fun. If we're not having fun we are in the wrong sport. But with patience and a lot of practice I can promise that your golf game will improve and after hitting a few solid shots you'll become addicted to the game, I'll tailor my lessons to each individual and take the time to ensure that progress is made. My passion lies in fostering a fun and supportive environment where golfers of all levels can thrive. Let's get out there!

"Sean is a very skilled coach with deep experience, and it was helpful spending a lesson with someone who has such a strong feel for the game. I’m very new to golf, and he gave me several useful drills and visual metaphors that made certain concepts click for me, especially his “paintbrush” cue for brushing the grass. You can tell a lot of this teaching comes from years of playing and collecting ways to explain the swing which made the lesson interesting and gave me a lot to practice afterwards.

Hi I'm Joshua Tam! I coach focusing on decision-making, consistency and repeatable shots. I am a believer in that techniques like dinking, resetting, blocking are key to a strong pickleball foundation. These are my greatest strengths that have allowed me to do very well in high level money tournaments. Whether you're brand new to pickleball or trying to break through a current level plateau (3.0-3.5-4.0+), lessons are tailored to your specific needs! My personal tournament results include 2nd place in 4.0. 4th in 4.5, and 2nd place in 5.0 DUPR events.
