My coaching philosophy is simple: every session should be as enjoyable as it is instructive, no matter your skill level. I take pride in introducing newcomers to the world of pickleball and relish in the opportunity to elevate the game for those looking to step up their play. I've had the pleasure of teaching with the fantastic team at Reaxn Pickleball, right at the Burbank Tennis Center, as well as various other Rec Centers. My goal is always the same – to make sure that fun and improvement go hand in hand for everyone. With 25 years of playing experience and 13 years of coaching, I have worked with over 500 students of all ages and skill levels through private lessons, group programs, and summer camps. I competed semi-professionally on the UK Junior Circuit and received elite training from Nick Bollettieri at The Harbour Club in Chelsea, London. I earned my first PTR certification at the age of 12 and have continued to advance through multiple licensing levels. As a player, I served as high school team captain and later competed as the top seed during my college career in the UK. My coaching style is down-to-earth, supportive, and adaptable, allowing me to work effectively with beginners through advanced players. I am deeply passionate about tennis and about helping others grow—whether that means taking your game to the next level or inspiring a lifelong love for the sport.

My journey with tennis began in childhood, playing with my grandmother, which sparked my passion and led me to join high school and college teams. Since then, I've maintained a regular schedule of playing several times a week. I've also enjoyed teaching numerous beginners, adept at starting players from scratch and guiding them through their tennis journey.

Just want to teach you to crush the ball and go low. I’m a 23 year old kid that’s won on the SCPGA Jr. Tour trying to make enough money to compete in tournaments. I’ve been obsessed with the game of golf for over a decade and would love to share what I’ve learned to those wanting to take their game to the next level. "I’ve taken a few lessons with Jacob now and my swing has only improved. What I liked most is he helped me understand how to generate more power in my golf swing, which is something I’ve been wanting to improve on as an 51 year old golfer, and also how to get it out without putting strain on my body. He does a great job dumbing down concepts for someone like me to understand i.e. making analogies to other sports and for me that helps a lot since I did not grow up playing golf.

With over 25 years of experience in the game, golf has been a lifelong passion that has taken me from junior competitions to D1 collegiate golf and beyond. I played for Oregon State University and did not miss a tournament. Additionally, I have competed at the U.S. Girls Junior Amateurs twice (‘08, ‘09) and the U.S. Women's Amateurs twice (‘12, ‘14). My PR is 64 back in high school. After college, I competed professionally on the Cactus Tour in Arizona, where I secured a tournament win at -11. While in Arizona, I also found joy in teaching, working with kids ages 6 to 12 at the TopGolf Summer Academy, helping them develop strong fundamentals and a love for the game. I also have experience going to Q-School and made it to Stage 2 my first year. Whether you're a beginner looking to build confidence and a strong foundation or an experienced player looking to lower your scores, I offer tailored lessons based on your goals.
