Hey everyone I’m Manuel but I go by Manny. I’ve been playing soccer since I was seven. My biggest achievement was winning the 2004 U-17 Scorpoin K.O. Joga Bonito Nike tournament along with two other teammates. I love soccer as much as I love coaching. This is why I want to continue teaching it and coaching those that wish to improve their game. I am a graduate of Valparaiso University with degrees in music and theatre and I have been teaching piano, voice, and acting students for over 8 years. It is my personal philosophy that learning should be joyful and a ton of fun! I am a graduate of Second City’s Music Improv Conservatory, and I have taught young people and adults of all ages across Chicago and Los Angeles with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, MA School of Acting, and in Chicago Public Schools. You may have seen me in the Romantic Comedy film Baking Up Love, in commercials for Smithfield, Pearson Textbooks, The Kentucky Lottery and more, as well as countless theatre productions and voiceovers. If you want me to coach your team to win a league it’s not difficult for me. I don’t need to play to coach. I prefer to play and coach.
