I never got the cute girl but I did quickly became obsessed with surfing. Surfing is my life and I’m a surfer. I love to share the stoke of surfing! It’s the most exhilarating and rewarding sport. I have been playing pickleball since early 2022 and received my PPR Associate Coach certification in June of 2023. Positive feedback from students reflect that I have a knack for easily explaining the rules of the game and can teach technique to beginners and intermediates in a fun and informative way. I have prior teaching experience in dance and gymnastics as a young adult. "After five lessons with Alex, we’ve built a solid foundation on fundamentals like footwork, shot placement, backhands, and situational serve variations. The biggest improvements I’ve noticed are in my serving and dinking. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned directly in challenge court play—my serves feel more effective and help set up points better, and I’ve become less predictable overall. I’m also starting to think through points more instead of just reacting. Alex has a great eye for mechanics. In our last session on movement and positioning, he helped simplify a few habits that were making me overcomplicate things. His drills are practical and translate well into real match situations. I’m very happy with my progress so far and would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to elevate their game.
