I played competitively at Miramonte High School and have spent my life immersed in youth soccer—as both a player and a dedicated coach. My coaching philosophy centers around building strong fundamentals, fostering teamwork, and helping players develop confidence both on and off the field. Hi there, I am Coach Jenny, founder of Rise Soccer Training in Oakland. I moved from England in 2003 to coach and play soccer in the US. I have played and worked with many companies, teams and schools over the years and with children of all ages and abilities. I hold a UEFA B coaching license and I have had a lot of coaching work in different sports. I look forward to meeting with you.

I earned my spot on varsity as a sophomore and finished my senior year with 880 receiving yards, 57 receptions, 10 touchdowns, 200 special‑teams yards, and 73 tackles. I built my game on sharp routes, strong hands, and a relentless work ethic. Now, I channel that same mindset into coaching. In my 1‑on‑1 sessions, I focus on mastering route running, footwork, catching technique, and situational football IQ. My style is precise and patient—I break down each skill so athletes become truly fluent in what they’re learning—while also bringing the motivational fire that pushes you to reach the next level of skill and confidence. My mission is simple: to give receivers the opportunities they deserve, sharpen their talent, strengthen their mindset, and bring out the absolute best version of themselves—on and off the field.

Fueling potential on the gridiron is my passion. With 9 years of experience playing high level football and 3 years coaching it, I blend strategic insight with a supportive approach, developing both skill and sportsmanship. I’m looking to evolve the new generations game with skill and intelligence.

I’ve been a professional basketball trainer since 2010. I’ve worked with athletes of all skill levels. Players have gone onto play at the NCAA, G-League, and in professional leagues domestically and overseas. I have my own indoor training facility in San Jose where I conduct my training sessions.

"I feel that the workouts are good but repetitive we only work on the same 6-7 things every time and there’s no difference in the practice but the things we have been working on has gotten me better, like my middys and the use of my off arm and hand and using my vision. I’ve learned many different ways to pull of a good pass and how to protect the basketball. I do feel like I learn something new every time I workout with coach P.

Since the age of 5, I have explored my fascination with music. Starting with Suzuki piano, I gave a recital in high school and went to Oberlin Conservatory. Continuing on to Peabody and Eastman, I completed my music education and moved on to IT while exploring additional passions in music on the side. I'm now back to music full time, with an emphasis on teaching conservatory-level classical piano and beginning/intermediate violin and latin percussion. I teach at your home or at mine in Danville.
