I was a former professional tennis player and top 25 d1 player and conference champion who has coached college tennis at the d1 and d2 levels. I have coached anyone from 3 years of age to 85. I was Florida state champion and was Top 3 in Florida . Ranked nationally and internationally as a player as well. I coached underdog college programs to conference championships and Quarterfinals NCAA division 2 national appearances in just 1 year. Achieved as high as a top 5 nationally ranked Division 2 program and coached top 10 NCAA division 1 player.

Hi, I'm Rita! I have over 20 years of experience teaching English Language Arts and supporting student achievement. I hold a Ph.D. in Education and California teaching credentials in English and Elementary Education. I help students in reading, writing, literacy, study skills, and academic coaching for middle school, high school, and college students. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student's goals.

I've spent my entire life around the piano, playing for big names like Van Morrison and Bonnie Raitt, and even in the early days of "Saturday Night Live." I've also had a hand in writing music for TV shows and directing music for lots of school plays and community theaters. Now, I'm excited to take all that experience and use it to help you learn and grow as my piano student.
