Hi! During my high school and college years, I played varsity tennis and even earned an invitation to the Junior Davis Cup tryouts. I then channeled my passion for the sport into coaching, leading to a head Varsity tennis coach in high school. These days, I've immersed myself in coaching pickleball, drawing from my rich tennis background to nurture and elevate players in this exciting game. Unlike many other coaches I earned a California State Bachelors degree which included a fifth year California State Teaching Credential. This training has given me the special skills to teach and coach my students at all levels of the game. It’s my passion. I recently won the Gold Medal 🏅in the Mixed Doubles at the Tri-Valley Pickle Ball Championships.

I coached a Nike Golf Camp for a number of years at Tilden Park Golf Course where I focused on younger golfers. I've been the head coach at a number of successful high schools throughout the area. I have also taught adults, family, and friends. I offer a unique perspective and my first and most important rule is that we're having fun. If we're not having fun we are in the wrong sport. But with patience and a lot of practice I can promise that your golf game will improve and after hitting a few solid shots you'll become addicted to the game. "Sean is a very skilled coach with deep experience, and it was helpful spending a lesson with someone who has such a strong feel for the game. I’m very new to golf, and he gave me several useful drills and visual metaphors that made certain concepts click for me, especially his “paintbrush” cue for brushing the grass. You can tell a lot of this teaching comes from years of playing and collecting ways to explain the swing which made the lesson interesting and gave me a lot to practice afterwards.
