Hi, my name is Yushan, but feel free to call me Susan too! I am currently a music major at CCSF, and I have been studying music for 6 years. I also worked as a teaching assistant at an after-school program in an elementary school, where I helped with art enrichment for 3rd–5th grade students. Additionally, I earned a Developing Your Musicianship certificate from Berklee College of Music. In my lessons, you will learn the fundamentals of music theory, including intervals, chords, melody, rhythm, and scales. You can also learn essential musical skills such as sight-singing and ear training if needed. I love working with different students, and I hope to make music theory more fun and help you enjoy music even more. I will do my best to support you, and I look forward to meeting you!

Christina Wang I began my musical journey at the age of 5 with classical piano, and since high school, I have expanded my skills to include singing, dancing, and theater. I hold a graduate degree in music from the University of California, Berkeley, and have had the privilege of participating in various musical ensembles—ranging from university choir and orchestra to chamber choirs and small ensembles. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I have had the honor of guiding students through their own musical paths. As a teacher, I pride myself on being organized, patient, encouraging, and fun. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. The moment when a student experiences that breakthrough and everything "clicks" is what fuels my passion for teaching. I firmly believe that learning music is not only about developing technical skills but also about instilling a sense of discipline, excellence, and joy. Russ is an experienced coach with over 25 years of leading athletes at the high school and youth levels. As a player, he spent two years competing in college after three standout years on his high school varsity team, where he helped capture a state championship and two league titles. His coaching career includes 25 years of high school varsity and JV football, as well as five years in Pop Warner. Currently, Russ brings his leadership and passion for the game to coaching high school boys flag football, where he continues to mentor and inspire student-athletes.
