Sports have been my passion since day one, competing in various ball-related tournaments worldwide, consistently ranking in the top 10 of the 30-year-old division for an impressive 12 years. Alongside pickleball, I have a deep affection for boxing, racquetball, baseball, ping pong, and all things sports-related. My teaching methods have been greatly influenced by my 30-year tenure as a martial arts instructor, bringing a unique perspective to my tennis coaching. His helpfulness stood out, though I’d like to see some focus on improving forehand control next time. Still, I’ll probably try Ed again because his straightforward guidance feels quite practical.

Played Ayso in my youth and high school after that. Coached my son’s teams for 4 seasons.

For the last 4 years I have been coaching with the dodger training academy. We host youth baseball camps with the players on the Los Angeles Dodgers. 2 years ago I also took up coaching with the Angeles as a youth baseball instructor. My background is in pitching, hitting, and fielding. I have a proven practice program that was taught to me which allowed me to be a Washington state all-star my senior year of high school and allowed me to play baseball at Bellevue college.

Despite it only being an hour, I felt like I walked away for sure with tools to help my throw! He had super useful exercises ready to run, and was nothing but encouraging and patient even as I fully made him run a ton/overthrew/poorly threw the ball. Would highly recommend!

I've be committed to my teaching for almost 25 years, helping people of all levels. I’ve taught over 30,000 group & private lessons helping people achieve their goals. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. I am a co-author of a book called Americas Golf Coach available on Amazon. Lessons also include on course instruction.
