Hi! I’ve been playing pickleball for over three years and racket sports for over 10. I found out that I love teaching and improving people’s skills on the court. With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist with three Division 1 tennis championships and a Southern California CIF semifinal appearance. I currently teach at Mulholland Hills Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy and have previously worked as a Special Education instructor, Registered Behavior Therapist, Adaptive Skills Clinician, Mobility Trainer, and Physical Therapist Aide. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics. My students have earned medals from the 2.5–4.5 levels and qualified for USA Pickleball Nationals. "Coach Arthur was awesome. Very happy of having him as a coach. Very positive and being a baseball player himself adds to his experience and knowledge. He also brought his son with him to help out on a few lessons and having baby otami(son) was great his insight on pitching mechanics really clicked with the betterment of mine and understanding how pitching works helped me a lot in adding velo and being more confident in the mount. "I’d say the lesson was quite helpful in refining my basic moves, though I still need to work on my footwork and reaction time. Angel’s focus on technique was great, and I appreciated the detailed feedback. I’m hoping future lessons will build on that foundation, but there’s clearly room to improve.
