Hi, I’m Michael Stine III, a PPR Certified Professional Pickleball Coach and competitive player based in Southern California. I’ve been playing pickleball for three years and competing at a high level in CAPA, iPickle, collegiate tournaments, and internationally. I’ve coached athletes ranging from ages 8 to 60+, including Junior PPA and National Junior Pickleball champions. Many of my students have gone on to win tournaments at the 3.0–5.0 levels in singles, doubles, and mixed divisions. My coaching approach focuses on developing strong fundamentals and technical precision, smart strategy and tactical awareness, and mental toughness to elevate your game quickly. With 25 years of playing experience and 13 years of coaching, I have worked with over 500 students of all ages and skill levels through private lessons, group programs, and summer camps. I competed semi-professionally on the UK Junior Circuit and received elite training from Nick Bollettieri at The Harbour Club in Chelsea, London. I earned my first PTR certification at the age of 12 and have continued to advance through multiple licensing levels. As a player, I served as high school team captain and later competed as the top seed during my college career in the UK. My coaching style is down-to-earth, supportive, and adaptable, allowing me to work effectively with beginners through advanced players. I am deeply passionate about tennis and about helping others grow—whether that means taking your game to the next level or inspiring a lifelong love for the sport.

The focus during the lesson helped her improve her swing, and I appreciate the calm way Alex explained things, though I hope future lessons can build on her confidence a bit more.
