For the past 5 years, I've been sharing my passion for surfing through teaching lessons, helping countless individuals discover the thrill of riding the waves. With a deep love for the sport, I excel at breaking down techniques and providing personalized guidance to help students learn and improve quickly. Join me for a surf session, and I'll have you catch waves and ride confidently from your first lesson. Let's hit the surf and make unforgettable memories together! … please if this is your first surf lesson or you last experience surfing was over a year, book me for at least 1.5 or 2 hrs. Is my obligation as surf instructor to teach you the basics to go safe to the water, so be prepared to spend 25-30 minutes in the sand learning, only for your first lesson. After your first lesson 1 hour lessons are ok, I’ll just check your pop up, give you a few pointers and then we hit the ocean🤙🏽… looking forward to see your smile after you catch your first wave 🌊 yewww!!

I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. My brother was on the high school team and I have trained with him growing up almost everyday. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching any students be well rounded individuals not just in sports, but in life.

Alongside pickleball, I have a deep affection for boxing, racquetball, baseball, ping pong, and all things sports-related. I've be committed to my teaching for almost 25 years, helping people of all levels. I’ve taught over 30,000 group & private lessons helping people achieve their goals. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. I am a co-author of a book called Americas Golf Coach available on Amazon. Lessons also include on course instruction.
