Hi, I’m Coach Frida Monsalvo I’m a former Division 1 soccer player, All-American, and SCC Defensive Player of the Year with a degree in Kinesiology and a deep passion for helping athletes reach their full potential. I currently serve as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Glen A. Wilson High School and as an Assistant Coach for the Mt. SAC Women’s Soccer Program. With years of experience as both a player and coach, I specialize in sports performance, speed and agility, strength and conditioning, and injury recovery—especially for athletes returning from ACL injuries. I’ve worked with athletes of all levels and ages, from youth players learning the basics to competitive athletes preparing for the next level. My goal is to create an environment where every athlete feels seen, supported, and challenged. I believe in combining science-based training with intentional coaching that builds discipline, confidence, and a strong mindset. I'm a passionate athlete and coach with a diverse background in multiple sports. I've taught tennis and snowboarding, and I'm a 10-time champion on the MGA tour (Mediocre Golf Association!). I’m a grandfather who played soccer since I was 6 years old and have 3grand kids are well under their way to become professionals the youngest who I feel I molded into a promising soccer player now is well on her way… now I would the same for dedicated youngsters I’m renewing my USSF licenses holding a Grassroots 11 v 11 now, my passion for soccer is infectious. I dedicate myself to cultivating both skills and a love for the game, ensuring every player reaches their full potential. I create a supportive, engaging environment where dedication meets fun. I must add that I’m an active player and instruct seniors as well!
