"I had my first pickleball lesson with Kibom Kim and it was a great experience. As a beginner, I wasn’t sure about the proper techniques, but he made everything easy to understand. He taught me how to grip the paddle correctly, proper stance and foot positioning, and worked with me on dinking, volleys, and drives. What stood out most was how patient and attentive he was throughout the lesson. He watched my form closely, pointed out small things I could adjust, and explained why those changes mattered. I could actually feel myself getting more comfortable and consistent as we practiced. The lesson was well organized, hands-on, and tailored to my skill level. If you’re new to pickleball or want to improve your fundamentals, I highly recommend Kibom Kim. He’s a knowledgeable coach who genuinely wants his students to get better. Looking forward to more lessons!

Willing to come to you! From North San Diego to Orange County. My coaching style is rooted in patience, personalization, and progress. I believe every golfer—whether brand new or returning to the game—deserves coaching that meets them where they are.. My approach focuses on simplifying the game as much as possible so that each swing, routine, and decision becomes repeatable under real on-course conditions. Golf doesn't have to be complicated to be effective—I aim to give students tools they can rely on, even when pressure builds. Ultimately, my goal is to help players build strong fundamentals, develop confidence, and enjoy the process of improvement. I work with students from beginners, intermediate or advanced. I also work with kids who want to give golf a try. Warm-Up & Fundamentals Review (Each Lesson) -5–10 minutes of dynamic stretching and swing warm-up. -Brief review of previous lesson’s key takeaways 3. Drills & Skill Development -Use targeted drills to build consistency and technique (e.g., alignment sticks, impact bags, foot spray, and tees for feedback) -Focus on one major skill per session (e.g., ball striking, putting, bunker play). -Adjust drills in real-time based on performance and progress 4. Video Analysis (When Applicable) -Use mobile video tools for visual feedback. -Compare student’s swing to previous footage or pro examples 5. "I haven’t golfed in 30 years and have had reconstructive surgery in the past year and a half. I was worried that I would t be able to swing anymore. We made some adjustments and I feel confident with my ability to start playing again. Looking forward to our other lessons with Brandon!

"I’ve asked Jay regarding one review that’s gotten 1 star rating… Not to badmouth anyone here, but it’s very misleading to just hear one side of the story so I’m putting down a review so you guys can decide. What Jay told me happened was that this particular student told through the app that she never needed equipments. So then, of course Jay or any instructor will come empty handed. Then first thing she told him was “I don’t have any clubs” and that’s how their lesson started off. After one hour, she told him how willing she was to take two instead of one lesson a week so she can develop faster. So Jay planned her curriculum accordingly. But at the end, she didn’t explain her text thoroughly regarding getting lessons and he ended up preparing as if he would see her. And then the rest happened. My personal experience with jay is just like the rest of the people here. Absolutely amazing of a coach!
