Hi, I am a 20-year-old student at UCR, and over the past 2 years, I have developed a passion for pickleball. My journey with pickleball began in 2022, igniting a passion that has quickly propelled me to a DUPR rating of 4.85. In the 2 tournaments I have competed in, I remain unbeaten with a 19-0 record. Beyond tournaments, my skills have been consistently tested and proven on the courts of Maple Hill, iPickle Whittier, and iPickle LaHabra, where I perform well against players rated 4.5 and above. Drawing from my background as a soccer coach, I understand the transformative power of mentorship and am eager to share my pickleball knowledge to help others excel in the sport. With a commitment to continuous improvement and a drive to empower aspiring players, I'm dedicated to guiding fellow enthusiasts towards reaching their full potential on the pickleball court.

Hi, I’m Coach Sean! I’m a patient, encouraging pickleball coach who helps beginners and intermediate players build confidence and develop strong fundamentals. My lessons are fun, supportive, and personalized to your goals. I offer both individual and group lessons, creating an engaging environment where players can learn, practice, and improve together. I break each skill down into simple steps and provide clear, practical feedback so you understand not only what to do, but why it works. We can work on serving, returns, groundstrokes, volleys, kitchen play, court positioning, doubles strategy, and overall consistency. I enjoy coaching kids, teenagers, adults, and seniors. Whether you have never picked up a paddle, are learning with a group, or want to take your game to the next level, I’ll meet you where you are and help you make noticeable progress while enjoying the process. Let’s get on the court and improve your game!

"Sean is very clear with his instructions. He explains exactly what you need to know without being overly verbose and demonstrates well. Some people spend so much time explaining that you don't get much chance to practice, but Sean provides the right balance. If you mess up, he doesn't immediately stop you to re-explain because he understands you need to keep practicing before you can do what he said. Some people keep stopping you to keep re-explaining, preventing you from continuing to try to actually do what they instructed. Sean is good about letting you know what you did right and *how* you did something wrong. He always provides encouraging feedback.

Building on a diverse sports background, I've transitioned from dedicating myself to tennis, ping-pong, and badminton to becoming a 4.5 rated Pickleball player. Now, I channel my joy and expertise into teaching the game, ready to share this exhilarating sport with you and your friends! With my broad background and dedication, I'm here to guide your journey! I recommend 90 minutes if you are doing one session only.

"Very helpful and patient with our children learning.

With a passion for golf that spans years, I teach real golf not just how to hit the ball. We will be going out on the actual course by lesson 8. I bring a wealth of experience to the fairways as a 7 handicap golf instructor. Specializing in swing training, strength conditioning, and mastering the art of the driver swing, I deeply understand the game's nuances. My dedication extends to perfecting short games and putting techniques crucial for success on the course. I seamlessly integrate my extensive knowledge of 18-hole course play rules, ensuring my students excel in technique and navigating the game's complexities. With years of coaching experience, I pride myself on cultivating talent and instilling a love for the game in each student. Whether honing skills on the range or strategizing for on-course success, I'm committed to guiding golfers of all levels toward their full potential.
