For the past 3 1/2 years, I've been fully immersed in Pickleball, dedicating myself to the sport with unwavering passion and enthusiasm. Playing consistently 5 to 6 days a week, and sometimes squeezing in two sessions a day, Pickleball has evolved from a mere pastime into a lifestyle for me. From an experienced school teacher to a 4.5 rated Pickleball instructor, I've transitioned my dedication for teaching into a new athletic arena. With over 3 decades of tennis playing and coaching under my belt, including a two-year stint at Mesa College, I bring a rich and diverse experience to my coaching. My journey into the dynamic world of Pickleball started a short 2 years ago, and in that short span, I've achieved a player rating of 4.0 to 4.5. Currently, I am currently a Pro-Certified instructor with the PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) to further strengthen my Pickleball coaching credentials. I have been playing tennis for over twenty years. This is includes competing in junior tournaments, playing in high school and junior college. I’ve teaching for almost fifteen years. I teach all ages and levels. Many of my players have gone on to play varsity at the high school level. My teaching style is to start with the fundamentals and add more as the student improves, constantly pushing them to improve.
